One sunny Sunday morning, the doctor’s office felt anything but bright. My wife and I sat there, lab results in hand, the picture far from healthy. Exhaustion, low testosterone, high blood sugar – the list went on. It explained everything – the constant fatigue, the weight gain, the reliance on to ramp-up coffee and wine to wind-down.
I was pushing myself to the limit. A demanding job, an executive master’s degree program, and a relentless schedule had taken their toll. Weekends, once a time to recharge, became an extension of the workweek. My body finally said “enough.”
But this wasn’t the end. It was the beginning. This experience became my springboard to discover a new path – one focused on natural solutions for regaining metabolic health and overall fitness. Now, I’m here to share what I learned with men just like you.
Several years ago, I endured a series of devastating losses, losing my middle brother to a stroke, my eldest brother to cancer, and my dad to chronic pulmonary obstructive disease within just three years. This profoundly dark period motivated me to research why so many men fall prey to chronic diseases. I discovered that lifestyle choices are crucial in either protecting us from or increasing our risk of these sicknesses. My male family members collectively had decades of life stolen from them and their loved ones due to lifestyle. Thus, it is my mission to help other men avoid this fate.
I have enjoyed an amazing corporate career as a Research and Development Vice President, and Director for some of the World’s largest food brands. I been blessed to be surround by some of most talented chefs, nutritionists, and food scientists anywhere.
My educational journey includes earning a Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic University, pursuing Master’s Studies at Florida’s Nova Southeastern University, and obtaining a Culinary Degree from New York’s prestigious Culinary Institute of America, often referred to as ‘The Harvard’ of culinary schools. I passionately publish a weekly newsletter devoted to men’s health, chronic disease prevention, and healthy cooking.
